Our client is looking to recruit a Production Improvement Coordinators to join their team in coordinating, organising and improving all aspects of production activity and associated resource to satisfy business objectives.

This is a shift role working a 7 day pattern, based on a pattern of 2 days on / 2 days off / 3 nights on / 2 days off / 2 days on / 3 days off. The pattern provides for every other weekend off and runs over a 4 week cycle with an average of 42 hours worked per week. The salary is inclusive of a shift allowance.

 

The Job you’ll do

  • Support the development and maintenance of a safe, clean and standardised working environment.

  • Auditing production procedures, in line with company schedules, with an emphasis on Work Instruction compliance.

  • Maintaining and updating documents appropriately.

  • Identify improvement opportunities and coordinate initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce risk, improve quality and standardise processes.

  • Supporting new ways of working.

  • Identifying any compliance difficulties, engaging and assisting crews as well as using knowledge/experience in working to a resolution.

  • Data collection and presentation where applicable.

  • Providing training and signing off training documentation as well as coordinating with designated trainers to ensure all training and refresher training is completed in a timely manner and to the required standard.

  • Support trials by coordinating production activity with Senior Operators and Trial Originators, ensuring appropriate feedback is provided.

  • Administrative work such as overtime, collection and collation of paperwork such as machine and equipment checklist.

  • Stand-in for the Shift Leader when absent, excluding disciplinary matters.

  • Provide holiday assistance and support to other departmental Shift Leaders or Production Improvement Coordinators. Excluding disciplinary matters.

 

About You

  • Minimum 5 GCSEs (A – C / Grade 4 or above) or relevant production experience.

  • Practical experience of leading and implementing change.

  • Understanding of improvement techniques and processes.

  • Proactive and demonstrates initiative.

  • Committed to achieving results.

  • Ability to work with others.
