MTrec are currently recruiting for a well-established manufacturing firm based in the Durham area.
The Job You’ll Do;
Following engineering drawing and diagrams
Working with various metals with various thicknesses.
Working with various hand tools, including a range of grinders and sanding tools.
Carrying out general metal working duties.
Marking out and measuring sections for cutting, shaping and drilling.
Drilling and tapping holes to meet job specifications.
Reading and understanding engineering drawings.
Assisting with goods in deliveries.
Quality inspecting own work during process.
About you.
Experience following engineering drawing and diagrams would be advantageous
Focused on quality and able to produce products to a high standard.
Working either independently or within a team.
Achieve team objectives.
Be consistent, accurate and ensure that procedures are followed.
Physically fit as some products are heavy.
