Working Hours

  • Dayshift, 37 hours

  • Core Hours:

    • 8am – 4pm, Mon – Thur

    • 8am – 1pm, Fri

The Job You’ll Do;

  • Ability to load, operate and unload CNC machines of manufactured parts.

  • Responsible for the production of components from drawings, utilising various sizes of manual lathes.

  • To ensure safety and quality procedures are adhered to and assist in the improvement of processes.

  • Timely production of parts to pre-determined deadlines.

  • Produce work to the highest quality standard to achieve customer satisfaction.

  • Support internal teams to get to the root cause of specific issues.

  • To take part in specialist or multi-disciplinary team activities.

  • To behave in a professional manner at all times when dealing with customers, suppliers and colleagues.

About You;

  • Experience as a Machinist within an Engineering/Manufacturing environment (ideally time served)

  • Skills such as manual milling, slotting, vertical & horizontal boring and grinding are desirable.

  • Happy to relocate to Peterhead in Scotland, where the work is based.

  • Conversant in both metric and imperial measurements.

  • Strong work ethic and ability to work to tight tolerances.

  • Able to work well both in a team and independently, with little supervision.
