The Company you’ll work for:

Our client is an established and successful company based in Hebburn. They are currently looking for an Administrator to join their team on a fixed term basis. If you are interested and meet the person specification of the job role, please apply below.

The job you’ll do:

  • Participate in stocktaking and resolve any found discrepancies.

  • Coordinate with suppliers to replenish stock in a timely manner.

  • Create purchase orders for production parts in line with production demand.

  • Check and book in incoming goods.

  • Administer documentation in line with company purchasing and compliance requirements to ensure that goods are purchased from reputable suppliers.

  • Assist with the updating of the approved suppliers register.

  • Complete several reports including returns report, as well as information on parts returns from both production and service.

  • Provide relevant information to be utilised for the production tracker report.

  • Liaising with suppliers to place, expedite and return orders.

  • Resolving supplier invoice queries.

About you:

  • Previous experience gained from working within a fast-paced procurement department.

  • Strong communication skills with ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Comply with internal and external business processes.

  • Excellent time management skills, be a forward thinker with the capability to plan ahead with strong organisational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work under pressure, with the aptitude to think on your feet and resolve issues that may arise.

  • Excellent IT skills, being proficient with MS office and in particular Excel and Outlook.

  • Ability to produce accurate reports.

  • Ability to build rapport with managers, colleagues and customers.

  • Full UK Driving Licence.

  • Counterbalance and Reach FLT Licences (in-house training can be provided).
