MTrec’s prestigious precision engineering client, based in Cramlington, are looking to recruit a permanent Quality Manager to their growing team. You will be joining a successful company, who are looking to strengthen their team even further by bringing in a Quality Manager. You would be reporting to the General Manager and would Develop, implement, and manage processes as well as Oversea and manage the QMS to name a few. The Job You’ll Do:

·         Develop, implement, and manage processes to ensure that products meet required customers specifications for quality.

·         Identify and set appropriate quality standards and parameters for products.

·         Review customer feedback on quality concerns, recommending and facilitating solutions to the issues, via 8D, Ishikawa etc.

·         Oversea and manage the QMS, (Quality Management System)

·         Continuous improvement in quality processes.

·         Supplier management / subcon

·         Ensure CSR (customer specific requirements) are being met.

·         Direct contact for all customers non-conformances

·         Manage quality KPI’s

·         Ensure ongoing compliance to ISO9001 and IATF 16949 automotive standards.

·         Manage the internal and external audit schedule, maintaining compliance with VDA 6.3 methodology and framework.

·         Collate scrap data and report the cost of poor quality via the monthly report

·         Communicate quality standards and parameters to the QA team and other appropriate members of staff.
