The Job You’ll Do;

•           Initial contact with customers from receipt of enquiry.

•           Corelation of site-specific design data whether historic from internal records or via arranged site survey/subsequent reports thereby defining actual conditions & specific project scope.

•           Quote generation for refurb/upgrade work after final design conditions confirmed.

•           Supporting customers where necessary to help secure internal funding for upgrade works using reports and justification docs.

•           Close customer communication to ensure orders placed whilst ensuring company operational policies are maintained.

•           Order handling to ensure both internal production, supplier and customer deadlines are hit.

•           In addition to technical aspects listed above the applicant will have financial cost control of these projects such as placing supplier/subcontract orders and invoice confirmation.

•           Production of Site work sheets and booking of correct personnel/site activities to facilitate smooth running of associated project installation works.

•           Accurate filing of all communication and design data in digital format to facilitate continued customer support when required.

About You;

•           Mechanical background is desirable (HNC, HND, BEng)

•           Willingness to travel nationwide when required (approx. twice per month)

•           Computer and report writing skills essential.

•           Capable of working unsupervised.

•           Ability to use own initiative.

•           Previous industry experience will be of benefit, additional training can be provided.

•           Good communication & organisational skills.

•           Completing date critical tasks to achieve project deadlines.

•           Accurate recording of all project related communication, design and approval data.

Liaising with internal team members, customers and production departments
