MTrec are currently recruiting for a renowned and respected manufacturing company based in the Durham area. MTrec are currently looking for proactive individuals who are looking for an ongoing position.
The Role:
Maintain accurate records of stock levels and ensure timely reordering of supplies to prevent shortages.
Conduct regular stock audits and inventories.
Manage the receipt, inspection, and storage of incoming materials and equipment.
Utilise company’s inventory management systems to track stock movements and maintain accurate inventory records.
Identify and implement improvements in stock management processes.
Issue materials, tools, and equipment to maintenance personnel as required.
Ensure that all issued items are logged and returned items are inspected and stored correctly.
Adhere to health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
Ensure stores are kept tidy in accordance with company standards.
Ensure that all tools and equipment are maintained in safe working order.
Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any issues.
Communicate effectively with the maintenance team to anticipate and fulfil their material and equipment needs.
Assist in preparing and maintaining maintenance reports and records.
Any other duties as requested by the Maintenance and Facilities Manager or other Managers that are appropriate for your job role.
The Person:
Counterbalance licence is preferable
Goods Inwards processes
Dispatch processes
Understanding of stock management processes in line with maintenance and production needs
Understanding of manufacturing processes
