The Job you’ll do

  • To maintain all machinery owned or hired by the company

  • To maintain preventative maintenance programme

  • Responsible for internal facilities e.g., heating, lighting, and domestic appliances.

  • Ensure breakdowns are dealt with as soon as possible to reduce downtime.

  • Facilitate installing new and existing machinery.

  • General maintenance of electrical equipment and systems

  • Co-ordinate contractors as required

  • Maintain adequate spares to support the plant

  • Take part in performance improvement programmes

  • To comply with legal requirements and to work within Company health and safety guidelines

  • To assist and train other members of staff.

  • Maintain high level of general housekeeping

  • Computer literate and able to use the main software packages

About You

  • Experience in a Multiskilled Maintenance role within Engineering/Manufacturing.

  • Excellent fault finding and problem-solving skills are essential.

  • Good communication skills with the ability to liaise with staff at all levels.

  • Machine tool and fitting experience desirable.

  • Computer literate and able to use the main software packages.
