Our client is a successful and established, highly successful and expanding hospitality group, based in Newcastle upon Tyne. They are currently looking for an experienced Hotel Manager to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. The job you will be doing;
Providing the highest quality of service to guests
Be instrumental to achieving hotel and business objectives are accomplished
Manage the day to day operations of the hotel and oversee all departments
Support operations management by advising on policy and procedures
Ensuring all urgent matters and addressed correctly and in accordance with company policy
Make sure all health and safety compliance is met throughout the hotel
Develop staff and management through mentoring and coaching
Conduct quarterly appraisals with the team
Follow all recruitment procedures and ensure these are followed by all
Create rotas for the needs of the business, and review all holiday requests to maintain cover
Make sure all training is up to date and takes place
Maintain cleanliness and maintenance issues by using a daily compliance diary
Ensure the site is adhering to Health and Safety, Food Safety and Licensing
Conduct regular site inspections to make sure all standards are being met
Ensure the site achieves 5 star EHO rating
Communicate effectively with the Area General Manager and the team
About You
Previous Hotel Management experience is essential.
