The Company

Our client is a market leader in the Engineering sector. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an Engineering Service Coordinator.

The Role

  • The role will provide coordination between the customer, suppliers, workshop and engineers.

  • You will be responsible for coordinating and executing multiple service jobs to ensure they are completed on time, within budget and to the satisfaction of our clients.

  • Oversee and manage all service jobs from initiation to completion.

  • Ensure timely and effective communication with clients and team members.

  • Work Closely with Manager to plan work through the workshop.

  • Allocate resources and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery of services.

  • Communicate and update clients on their orders

  • Co-ordinate the selection and briefing of Engineers.

  • Ensure required documentation is collated/ provided.

  • Receive client calls/emails relating to service work.

  • Provide quotes to clients for service and site work.

  • Create timely and accurate client order acknowledgements.

  • Create and maintain accurate job details in ERP system.

  • Obtain supplier quotes and purchase materials/subcontracted services in relation to the service jobs.

  • Maintain KPI’s relevant to service and site work.

  • Maintain cost estimates for service work

  • Produce work instructions for the workshop.

  • Accurate updating of reports.

  • Perform invoicing of completed work.

  • Create and issue client documentation including certificates.

  • Uphold health and safety practices.

The Person

  • Will ideally have experience in a similar role within engineering or manufacturing.

  • Will be someone who is mechanically minded, detail orientated and an eye on customer satisfaction.

  • Sound technical background and understanding of mechanical principles.

  • Demonstrable customer and supplier contact experience.

  • Demonstrable Commercial awareness and experience.

  • Excellent organisation and time management, able to plan and prioritise to meet deadlines.

  • Able to make balanced decisions in a variety of situations.

  • Computer Literate, familiar with MS Office Package, Google package and ERP.
