The Job You’ll Do;

  • Hardware and software engineering of products.
  • Designing new / modifying existing PCB designs to accommodate new customer needs.
  • Creating proposals and estimates for customer projects / requirements.
  • Creating and maintaining project data repositories.
  • Supporting production by creating and maintaining test programs, procedures and work instructions.
  • Supporting internal and external customers with their requirements.
  • Creating and maintaining development procedures and project procedures.
  • Working collectively in an engineering team to complete design projects.
  • Improving current products via means such as consolidation, bug fixes etc.
  • Supporting design changes and part selection based on component availability.
  • Software development to accommodate customer requirements.
  • Tools/Software used: Altium, git, Eclipse, Trello.

About You;

  • Degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering or similar
  • Experience in Hardware PCB design.
  • Low power microcontroller-based board design.
  • Practical board debug / rework / assembly experience
  • Buck / boost power regulation design.
  • Design For Manufacture / Design for Test / NPI.
  • A desire for active product and process improvement with attention to detail.
  • Direct experience of hardware conformance process (EN60950/EN62368, RED, FCC CFR47)
  • Embedded software development using C language.
  • Software development using other programming languages.
